Editorial Policy
How NovelNest creates original guides and recommendations, handles corrections, and keeps editorial content separate from advertising.
Original work
NovelNest Reading Desk articles are created for NovelNest readers. They are written to explain reading habits, genre conventions, discovery methods, and practical ways to choose or organize web novels. Editorial pages are not copied from novel chapters or publisher descriptions.
Editorial independence
Recommendations and guides are chosen for usefulness to readers. If NovelNest later displays advertising or sponsored material, payment does not determine the conclusions of ordinary editorial articles. Sponsored or paid material should be clearly identified as such.
Sources and accuracy
When an article discusses a specific novel, author, publication status, or measurable fact, NovelNest should rely on the site catalog, the authorized source, or another reliable source. General genre explainers may describe common conventions without claiming that every story in a genre follows the same pattern.
Corrections
If an editorial page contains a factual error, readers can report it through the Contact page. Confirmed errors should be corrected without hiding the substance of the change.
Clear separation from licensed fiction
Novel text and original NovelNest editorial writing serve different purposes. A licensed chapter is presented as the author's work. A Reading Desk article is NovelNest editorial content and should be labeled as an original guide.
