Content Licensing & Rights
How NovelNest approaches permission, attribution, licensed chapter text, cover art, and rights-holder requests.
Permission before full-text publication
NovelNest only intends to publish full novel chapters when the site owner has confirmed permission or another valid right to publish the work. A listing in the catalog does not by itself transfer copyright ownership to NovelNest.
Ownership stays with rights holders
Authors, artists, publishers, and other rights holders keep their rights in novels, cover art, characters, translations, and other protected material unless a separate agreement says otherwise.
Attribution and source information
NovelNest aims to identify the novel title, author, status, and source information accurately. If attribution is incomplete or wrong, a rights holder or reader can request correction through the Contact page.
Changes in permission
If permission changes, expires, or is disputed, NovelNest may restrict or remove affected material while the issue is reviewed. The Copyright & Takedown page explains the information that helps with a review.
No permission to re-copy from NovelNest
Permission for NovelNest to publish a work does not automatically give other people permission to scrape, copy, resell, or republish that work. Readers should obtain permission from the relevant rights holder before redistributing protected material.
